No. I honestly don’t know how they’re fixing both at the same time. I thought I was only nearsighted but the eye doctor brought up that I’m also farsighted at my last appointment

My mom got lasik... every doctor in the room was still wearing glasses and she now has altered color vision (dont ask how I have not a clue) and has become farsighted when she was previously nearsighted

Both my parents got LASIK, many years ago, both their version are perfectly fine. Far sightedness is not something that was the result of lasik, that’s just a result of age, everybody eventually needs reading glasses

My mom was a teen mom so shes pretty young. Also magically switching from definite nearsightedness to farsighted ... over the course of the one day she got the surgery... is pretty odd aging if you ask me 💀

Must’ve been one of two things. 1. She was not a good candidate for LASIK. 2. The lasik guy was not a very good one

Evidently the lasik guy was not a good one thats the point 💀 its an incredibly high risk procedure and if the doctors giving it wont get it you shouldnt be either

The lasik guy that gave me lasik got lasik himself, not a single person in that office had glasses. One of the highest rated lasik places in the region. I had a thicker than average cornea as well. I think it was a pretty safe bet for me. Not everyone is a good candidate, but if you are then it’s NOT a high risk procedure.
