Well most ppl who own guns use it for hunting or for sport. Guns are only harmful when someone who shouldn’t have one, has one. There are tonssss of super responsible gun owners. Likewise, if someone has $1050000000 then good for them, they’ve clearly worked hard in some way shape or form. Sure they can share the wealth but life isn’t peachy keen fairzees

Exactly. It’s about individual freedom, people have the right to make an absurd amount of money and they have the right, at least in this country, to carry a gun. It’s up to them whether they want to be stupid about it.

And to your point about people who have a lot of $ “working hard” - 1. What about people who work multiple jobs around the clock just to make a living? If it was simply about work ethic, $ would be distributed totally differently 2. What about people who inherited their wealth?

Simple solution to your problem is to not live somewhere so free then. Who cares if wealth is passed down generationally, MOST things are. You can have good work ethic but there are tiers for pay that ultimately make sense. 3 fast food jobs is not going to make you millions of dollars, as to one high office job or something. It can seem sucky, but youre free, whether u like what comes with that or not. There are worser places in the world

And to the point about wealth- can you understand why the idea of the top*1%* of wealthy people in our country owning a *third* of the wealth, while the bottom *50%* own just *2.5%* of the US net worth- is a problem? It’s reasonable to say that people who contribute more to society will earn more- the problem is the *extent* of the disparity
