If yall are grown I think he, well the both of u if wanted, deserve a time to process whatever convo to ensure emotions don’t get in the way but I also believe that as adults shutting down is not a means to no longer address something. Also it should never turn into a silent treatment or anything emotionally/psych abusive

Yeah, I honestly don’t think he notices he acts differently. Like we were on ft and he was on reels and I was watching tv, and then he laughed at something and I was like what but when he spoke to me to respond his whole demeanor changed but…
