It counts for sure. Rereading is actually important because it gives you an opportunity to see the overall picture, themes, and characterizations better. It also simultaneously gives you the chance to dissect the details you didnt pick up on the first time. Rereads are different experiences than initial reads.

Id say it counts! A book is a book, I count audiobooks, plays, poetry books, graphic novels, the same as I count regular novels
