We are the only first world country with this level of gun ownership & this level of gun deaths. It's mental health, but it’s also certainly the guns

It’s a problem that can’t be fixed by removing the second amendment or even impeding it.

Neither. It’s a heart issue.

Why would our country be the only country with this “heart issue” ?

I never said our country is the only country with this issue

Then how do you explain the rate of gun deaths (particularly mass shootings) relative to other countries?
1
Anonymous#41w
Because we have more guns than other countries. Other countries use knives and bats.

So how is that not also a gun issue when we see a higher rate of death than those countries with those types of incidents?
1
Anonymous#41w
Okay let’s do some math
The more guns you have the more you’re going to have gun crimes by default simply because there is more guns in the population. If other countries had just as much guns as we did they too would have a similar rate of gun crimes.

Exactly🙂

So we should get rid of all vehicles too since they cause a lot of deaths per year then right?

Nope! But as we’ve learned what factors increase the rate of deadly accidents, we’ve introduced safer car designs, safer road designs, & more regulations for drivers. The equivalent should be done to reduce gun deaths
