I don’t wear period underwear but I do wear goodnites xl for kids lol. It’s so much comfier, the inner stuffing stuff doesn’t separate as much as pads, and it covers everything. Love that shit

I used tampons with pads on heavy days (sometimes cups if I wouldn’t be near a bathroom for a few hours at a time) but just pads when ever I could get away with it

This is an invasive question but can you get anything inside? Because if it just bc of the cotton or applicator that’s understandable but if you can’t get /anything/ inside it might be a health concern and you should go to gynecologist

i haven’t tried to put anything else inside other than the cotton and i can only get half of it in before i can’t go higher :/ i’ve thought about going to a gynecologist because i’m like is this normal?

It definitely doesn’t sound normal, it’s probably best that you get that checked

You should try feeling around down there. It might be that you don’t understand how tilted it actually is (so feeling the angle can really help with application of tampons) or if could be something stopping your vagina from opening properly which is something you’d need to go in for

You could be putting it in at an incorrect angle. You kind of need to put your leg up like on the toilet and slide it in towards your lower back. It takes a while to get the hang of

Or if you don’t feel comfortable trying that, just go to the doctors and have them check (I know some people feel uncomfortable feeling around for like religious reasons so no judgement if that’s how you want to handle this)

yeah it could be the angle i’d have to try again because it’s been awhile. doesn’t help that i’m scared of having anything inside me so it’s a possibility this is an anxiety response :/

Anxiety is definitely a key player for many of us, including myself for a while. It prevents your pelvic floor from relaxing, ergo preventing anything from going in. Just use whatever you’re comfortable with :)

My friend had this problem! Ended up being referred to a pelvic floor PT. She says it’s made a huge difference
