Yea I been noticing that, they be using it to just refer to a male which is wild cuz obviously that’s one aspect of the way we use it too but i feel like it being bit the wrong way😂 like maybe im weird but it irks me so bad to see white folk calling each other nigga

I think because it’s something that is used as a common vernacular by some black communities, adjacent non-black groups will adopt it as an inappropriate form of cultural appropriation. I am suburban and white so I don’t really see non-black people use it in my day to day but I have heard from a latino friend in Atlanta that some Latinos use it way too much.

i grew up in a hispanic town and they 100% say it more than me. i also go to a pwi in the middle of no where and it’s normal for the ppl there to say it.
