If you wanted a home garden, would you use a service where someone personally helps you plan, set up, and care for it instead of having to figure everything out through books, YouTube, and online advice?

What would you consider a reasonable price for a service like that?

How would the rates be determined? By the hour? Does the size of the plot and material/equipment cost factor in? Does consultation cost different than physical work? Personally it’d prob be out of my budget no matter what but you’d be competing with general landscaping businesses to get costumers who could afford that sort of thing

I’d probably base rates on the type of help, how much work is involved, garden size, and materials/equipment needed. Consultations would be separate from physical work, and smaller setups would generally be cheaper. It’s also a little different from general landscaping since the focus is specifically on edible gardens, planning, setup, and teaching people how to care for them. For bigger site work, landscapers would probably be more like people to work alongside than direct competition.
