For those who went to college, what is the latest you’ve stayed at the library studying (not including working at the library)?

The school library closed at 10 but I would’ve stayed later

Was studying how to make an accordion book so I could make one myself (I went to art school)

I did architecture so I never really had to study for exams but I’ve spent 3 days straight in the studio working without going home

Oof, yeah I regularly stayed in the studio until 2-4 am. One time I stayed overnight and had a class that morning in the same room (studio was a shared studio space with a portion used for senior illustration classes). Was asked when I got there since I was earlier than usual and I said “I haven’t left”

The longest I remember doing without sleep was 55 hours. Skipped all my classes for those days and literally only left to eat (and barely ate at that). I remember my mom was horrified when I told her I got to studio at 9pm on Sunday and left at 4am…….on Wednesday. I think I slept for like 16 hours after that.

It’s basically a constant spiral of being sleep deprived, being so tired that you get nauseous/forget to eat, and then not having eaten or slept so you have no energy to work but the deadline is the next day. A couple weeks ago I was in the studio for 36 hours and only ate once and it was bc my roommate offered to cook if I came home briefly.

Same, our closed at either 10pm or midnight, but tbh I would've stayed there until like 6am if I could've, environment makes such a difference for studying.
