You dont need to drive to use a map 😭 I walk/carpool regularly and always handle directions, I prefer google maps for driving and walking, their public transport feature is kinda bad though, apple maps tends to just bring me to the wrong place entirely or bring me really obscure ways (for example when I vaguely know where im going but need the map to verify, apple usually brings me a route that adds 10-20 mins)

I find it’s better for me to develop my own sense of direction by not using a GPS and forcing myself to learn the roads and routes

I always used Google Maps. Then I got an iphone and a subaru and google maps didn't send turn by turn directions to the center dash display in the way that apple maps does. So i used apple maps, for a while. Google does now send those directions to the dash and I miss some things about it like how,it welcomes you to new states and it has very good traffic data but I got used to apple maps. Better voice and just more optimized for use w iphone i guess

If im not in a car, Apple Maps all day. I find the walking to be a lot more accurate than google maps, and just overall more polished/buttery UI
