Conceptually I’m ok with it but I know far too many emotionally unstable teachers to agree with it realistically.

They’re more likely to get in trouble because they’re more likely to do things to get them in trouble. This is a symptom, not a root problem, and if anything it would probably do them some good to receive punishments when necessary.

To be clear, they’re more likely to do things to get in trouble due to societal conditions that aren’t under their control, not anything biological. But choosing not to discipline them simply because they aren’t white is racist is doing a disservice to them.
