Persians were a lot more tighter knit than the Balkans ever were. I don’t know if fragmentation would necessarily work, especially considering there are no hardline borders outside of those set by the mountains.

Persians aren't the only ethnicity there, and our gov along with Israel is actively arming and funding secessionist movements rn as part of the warplans while indiscriminately firebombing the main cities. Don’t be ridiculous, a nuke is the ultimate act or barbarism. Do you know how many people that would kill? We would never recover from the fallout from that decision. The Shahs website lists over 1,000,000 people who would be willing to be defectors when he returns. Over 30,000 people were killed protesting their government. Persia will come back, these leaders that pop up will continue to be killed until someone submits.

For Iran and given then fact we’re running low on normal munitions and a nuclear warplane was just deployed there—yeah, I’d say there’s a pretty good chance they’re going to get nuked. Trump said he wants unconditional surrender, historically that means pretty much every woman there will SA’d by invading forces if this war ends that way. Certainly. Just like Russia was going to deploy tactical nukes in Kyiv. You don’t know what you’re talking about here — and the fact that you’re out of your depth couldn’t be more obvious. Though the death toll would be ridiculously high, so too would the risk of a retaliatory strike by one of Iran’s allies, and nobody wants any part of that level of escalation. This will be strictly conventional warfare. The 7-10 rule alone makes even a tactical nuke a ridiculous idea.
