I feel like blood for vampires is basically their alcohol.

I do have iron deficiency anemia but I also have a high hematocrit so maybe like. A kinda flavorless milkshake made with low fat milk but it’s still too thick to drink comfortably through a straw

i feel like water would be the most accurate considering it’s like a thing in a lot of vampire stories where they need blood to survive

But like there’s got to be levels to the blood for vampires.

Maybe each level is a different blood type

I’m sitting here thinking at what level does it get like heavenly like it’s 80’s pure Colombian Coke or like a vintage wine or like a 30 yr old whiskey.

Depends on the blood type, strength, and amount consumed

Also what about like body composition does it change, like blood on a person with less body fat does it go more towards skin and like more body fat get more like whole milk. This could be a dissertation.

You have a point! Composition is probably an important factor to take into consideration. Also, is it possible for vampires to have allergic reactions to particular blood types?

This is how The Witcher treats it. Higher Vampires don’t *have* to drink blood, but it’s peer pressured, intoxicating, and addictive. I actually really like that interpretation of it, makes for more interesting characters for those that go against the grain.
