Yes and it was somehow even worse than I thought. Not only is it terribly written she didn’t cite the Bible when she brought it up! Not even a direct quote from the Bible. Just what she feels the Bible means. And she comes out as pro-bullying in that essay which is wild.

Well I tried to provide an actual link to the essay because I provided the wrong one but someone reported it for “bullying”

I agree with her stance and it was poorly written. I have cited the bible in my essays and in order for it to count as an actual citation you must include the book, chapter, verses, and version. If you are going to make a stand you need to at least do it right because it's making other people look bad.

Yeah I went to a private Christain school and if I had turned that it I would have gotten a bad grade.

But yeah I didn’t have much of an opinion until I actually read the paper and I couldn’t believe that there were people defending it

Yeah citing a religious book is done quite often. However I read the rubric, the professors feedback, and her paper and she really didn’t do anything right for the assignment. It was supposed to be a short critical thinking essay on how society sets gender roles. The Bible would have been a good source to talk about how it impacts Christian societies. However she didn’t really write about that and didn’t even bother to cite the Bible or any of her sources.

I personally have written a paper where I used a religious book as a source and I got a 100 on the massive paper because I related the content to the source.
