I don’t think it helps as much as it should in stopping them doing things but I does help in there being evidence of them doing it in court or for it to be suspicious that it was off, even if court isn’t fair in itself it’s better than no evidence

It has helped police officers when people have made false allegations against them and it has also helped civilians who have been victims of police brutality.
