If youre saying no you have no clue what maga is doing or what they believe, or chose to not read the provided definition for facism, they follow it to a T its not an objective debatable thing they factually check every box

The current administration has fascist qualities, but it is not truly fascist because we are not a dictatorship. We are actually far from a dictatorship relative to the rest of the world.

Ehh, I can see maybe 1 or 2 of these as somewhat of an argument but I feel like it’s definitely a stretch. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like or agree with them either way, but I feel like calling them fascists is overboard. Too many people call the other side names like nazi or racists or communists or whatever to where they just lose their meaning.

They've used nazi slogans and symbols many a times. If you dont want to be called a nazi, then stop acting like one. Copying the executors of the largest genocide in human history is not a good look either way and ICE agents are admitting to the very habits against incarcerated immigrants that nazis were known for (assault, abuse, people 'disappearing', etc etc)

If you can provide specific cases of any of this I’d be happy to discuss further

#2 Just said this…all the HYPERBOLE by the left & right got us to this miserable point. Trump admin is NOT fascist, it’s just distasteful. Insisting on such extreme terms is an insult to victims of real fascism, and counter productive to positive progress - regardless of your political affiliation. The choice is yours to be an agent for + change or parrot of political rhetoric.

Yes misusing terms decreases their value. This is not a mischaracterization so the argument is null. They are using their words, their symbols, and their rhetoric to grab random people off the streets, ill trained, and with unnecessary force. Peoples neighbors are disappearing and untraceable, we are watching the pages of Anne's diary be rewritten, being semantic about your words changes none of it.

Just because the government does not currently exist as a fascist state does not make the presidential administration non-fascist. Their words and actions prove that if there were no legal checks stopping them, they would prefer to operate as a fascist form of government

Fascism is an ideology and a process, not an end result. You don’t have to be the Nazis in 1944. The Nazis were fascist in 1932 before they had absolute control.

Real. Ai is always biased because it’s trained on biased data. Use academic sources. Didn’t you learn CRAVEN in highschool?

You say this then go straight to hyperbole. Which of the ICE detainees cannot be reached by family and/or their lawyers? What symbol, the swastika? Where has that been used on any official capacity by the President’s cabinet? Using who’s rhetoric, NAZI Germany?

What country do you think Nazi Germany copied these standards from: 1. Anti-Miscegenation Laws 2. Eugenics and Forced Sterilization 3. Segregation and Second-Class Citizenship 4. Immigration Quotas 5. Manifest Destiny and "Lebensraum"

I think MAGA as a movement can be a fascist movement without there currently being a full on fascist regime

Because a new attempt at Nazi uprising would totally use the most obvious Nazi symbol that was already condemned by the public instead of more subtle manipulation through dogwhistles and plausible deniability... Right

Thousands across multiple different holding facilities, they not only cant be reached but theyre disappearing from ICE's database entirely there are thousands of people untraceable, including mutliple native americans that were taken by ICE. A salute is a symbol, a slogan is a symbol, kristi noem is in the cabinet. Elon is in the cabinet, the man pictured with him used to work with them closely. I give you facts and you call it hyperbole and blatantly ignore it, I cant help you beyond that.

You can request records and location by individual from ICE, if youd like to do that yourself then by all means. Lawyers and families are also sharing their communications with ICE in which they are being given no information if not entirely refused

You haven’t given ANY credible facts, hence the hyperbole. You ask a question, get objective feedback and lash out when it doesn’t agree with your preconceived notions, no matter how flawed they are. This is an indicator you have unresolved issues in your own personal life, that you are taking out of issues such as this. This administration sucks, and justice for the illegality of their mistakes will take time. Blowing them out of proportion is counterproductive.
