I was thinking more like managing your accounts online. Checking balances. Transferring money from checking to savings, etc

Oh yeah, im def cool w foregoing that. I check my accts pretty infrequently and setup my paycheck to automatically split to checking & savings, so not much activity there. I guess a followup then would be if im allowed to still have a budgeting app to track my spending (to avoid overdrafting my checking), or if thats cheating

If it doesn’t have any actual real time effect or view on your accounts I’d think that’s within the rules. People would use a ledger to track their spending on paper when they used to write paper checks. It would basically be the digital version of that I would think.
