Did you guys have an explicit understanding with each other that you wouldn’t do things like this? Or did you just assume you wouldn’t have to tell him not to since it’s common sense? I just went through something super similar so I understand where you’re at

Not explicitly this but he knew I wouldn’t like it if he did something like this and did it anyway. Now I feel bad bc we got into a huge fight so im just needing some advice. What was your situation??

It’s a lot to get into here but basically I explicitly asked her if she was still in contact with any of her exes and she told me that they were all blocked. Fast forward to today after a lot of gaslighting by her I realized that she had been talking to her ex of five years for the first two months of our relationship. We just hit two years, but it’s still really hurts to find out she was doing that the beginning, especially knowing she lied to me because she knew I wouldn’t be okay with it.
