being negative to others is mean, being positive to others is nice. if i said mean vs nice, it could be interpreted differently

that’s not true at all sometimes a negative perspective can be helpful and sometimes blind positivity can be harmful

negative remarks are delivered unkindly. if it’s delivered kindly, it’s constructive criticism. i can find something helpful regardless of tone but it doesn’t change that the tone was hostile
