I'm the only one who thinks it would be interesting to learn the language of the person and group that had such an immense effect on history, on whom our entire calendar is based? I'm a secular minded person but I find it interesting to try to sort through the puzzle of what really happened back there. Of course nothing is written in Aramaic but it adds new color to some of the stories, some of the stories dont even translate right into greek, the language of the new testament

Aramaic was the language Jesus is thought to have spoken, and it's still spoken in a small town in Syria

Yes. At the time i was the only vote for Aramaic. Apparently it is written too. I was wrong to say it's not a written language but the books of the nt are in greek
