Also funny enough I’m SO good at tracking my own finances but I’m still a broke college student so I downloaded rocket money and signed up for the free trial (I ALWAYS keep track of when those are ending) and I think life just got ahead of me and rocket money sucked 20 bucks out of my account. 100% my fault but now I genuinely hate rocket money bc I NEEDED that 20 bucks

Like all my cards (I say all my cards and I have 1 credit and 1 debit card) are in my Apple wallet so I just get notifications when any transaction goes through. And even if not I’d notice from opening my banking app or my credit card bill like tf

Also, for apps with free trials just cancel them the second you get them in settings. It still lets you use it until the free trial ends, you’re really just cancelling reoccurring payments

Or even better. Get a "free" account on privacy. Com and use a card with like $1 on it, to get pass any card verifications any "free trial" app or site forced on you. Then whenever your charged, it obviously declines. Then you can just close the card

and forget about it. Also may need to block that email so you won't get pestered by it too. Also a good idea to just use a burner email if you have one
