I feel like i would raise them the same? Regardless of if my child were the opposite gender of me i would ensure they would have role models that they can relate to and/or come to for difficult/specialized topics.

you can’t raise girls and boys the same unfortunately. like yeah you can teach them both do not do certain things but there are some things you especially need to enforce on certain genders

you can teach your son to be nice and not hurt people but you might have to go to an extra extent then you would with a daughter because men are statistically more violent than women. or you would have to teach your daughter to protect herself to a farther extent because statistically, women are more likely to victims than men. there’s other examples too

But the end goal would be the same, no? I would raise my kid to not hurt people and to protect themselves. The path is different but the standard is the same. This is just a semantic argument.

yes the end goal is the same but you have to go to certain measures to get there depending on the gender. yes the path is different, which is my point
