For me, personally, college environment (and cost obvi lol) is the reason I went where I am. At the end of the day, you’ll come out with a degree either way, so make sure you spend those years in a place that feels like you can grow and thrive! Lack of clubs and a main campus would worry me a lot.

I think like, if you’ve gotten to the point where you’re asking yourself that question the answer is already yes. Saying this as someone who regrets not transferring now that it’s too late

how did you cope with feeling alone, if that was a problem you had?

That was a problem for me both before and after transferring, to be honest. You have to put yourself out there. Join clubs, be loud and be social, don’t be like me and let your anxiety control you. Go to the gym. Really. You will feel more confident. And keep yourself busy.

the school i’m looking at doesn’t have any clubs and doesn’t even really have a campus. its like my biggest concern

and i’m a pretty extraverted person but it’s hard to be extraverted when everyone just keeps to themselves

Does it have greek life? You can still do that if you’re an underclassman. You could also try to join a local rotary club or other charitable group. If your school mostly expects people to live in dorms, make friends with your neighbors. I had a guy who would always ask me if I wanted to get lunch with him and it always made my day
