On a few occasions as a little kid, I would dial 911 and immediately hang up before the first ring, like for the adrenaline rush of "I could get in so much trouble for this"

tons of times. i feel like it’s better to be safe than sorry when deciding whether to call. although i haven’t had any false calls yet

I called once to report a drunk driver, it sucked bc literally while on the phone w them we passed a cop and the cop didn’t pull out :( I’ve called nonemergency a few times, once to report a barely breathing (but alive) deer in the road, and once because a house on my road was double parked for a party IN THE ROAD and it was impossible to get thru
