Grew up in remote Appalachia and this was literally visible from my driveway, but it’s been going away :(

Well they classify the darkness of the sky into 10 'Bortle Zones", with 1 being the darkest, and I was in an area classified as zone 1 on a clear night when the moon wasn't out, and it didn't look like this
