some people value education (almost) as much as religion — with the rise of AI, would you be okay with using it in education and/or religious practice? if you pick ok in one, not the other or ok in both, which one is it ok in and/or why is it ok?

How would they be used? As it stands, AI still makes way too many mistakes on things that are easily verifiable, so I don’t really want it used in education other than to teach students how to responsibly use it. As for religion, I don’t see a necessary use. We have theologians who study it and the source materials were completed 2000+ years ago so no need there. Mostly I don’t trust a machine to determine/influence human morality.

it’s also less that I’m ok and more that, as technology evolves, it’s not really an option. either education adapts to meet students in the modern landscape or lags behind. kids will be interacting with AI regardless, and when they grow up, jobs will expect it.
