I’d chill with 8 year old me, just so the kid can see it does actually get better. I know 8 year old me wouldn’t need it yet, but I know teenage me would have benefited seeing that I do get to the other side, and that I get to be happy. I’d probably spend the day playing Minecraft with 8 year old me (8 year old me would also be BLOWN AWAY with the current updates of Minecraft)
