If a woman’s right to bodily autonomy isn’t good enough for you to be pro-choice, then pro-lifers should all support mandating that fathers must donate their kidney, liver, and lungs to their children if they needed it.

Not a woman, but I genuinely cannot fathom why someone would think it’s NOT the woman’s right to choose

Why is there not a both option?

if women dont have a choice to undergo the medical procedure of having a baby, why do men get the choice on whether or not to have a vasectomy?

I’m a woman. It’s not even about the heart beating. It’s the fact that they’re forcibly killing a human life through the abortion whereas if the baby were just left alone, it’d continue through the stages of development. I simply see the baby as an individual due to its separate human DNA. It’s just in the very early stage of development and that shouldn’t mean you have a right to kill it. Just as you have no right to kill a baby after birth, you should have absolutely no right to kill it before

Many pregnant women would already carry the baby to term, so I don’t really know what you’re trying to say here. I think you’re kind of dumb.

Okay, I’m pro-choice as I said in this thread but these are in NO WAY the same thing. Women can get preemptive, permanent birth control too without having an abortion.

Would you be in support of charging would-be mothers that have a miscarriage with manslaughter?

If you really believed that there’s no difference in personhood between a baby and a fetus, then every single miscarriage should be investigated by the police for foul play. The mother should be brought in for questioning under suspicions of committing murder. But obviously most pro-lifers don’t believe that this is a good idea, because that would be insane. People like you just can’t seem to grasp the concept of logical consistency.

Not every death is investigated for murder, it can be clear when a loss of life is due a medical issue, which is the case of most miscarriages. Families don’t get dragged in for interrogation when their kid gets hit by a car. However, self inflicted miscarriages (like in the case of substance abuse) actually are handled as a crime in some states.

Note how I said it’s forcibly killing a human life when if the baby were left alone, it’d continue through the stages of development. Obviously abortions and miscarriages aren’t equivalent smartass. It’s not a lack of consistency, you just lack nuance

notice that the extreme vast majority of miscarriages (which make up nearly half of all pregnancies) are not due to negligence let alone purposeful malice

With that logic, every doctor that is unable to save a life from medical complications should be investigated too. You’re the one that can’t seem to grasp the concept of logical consistency

It is EXTREMELY difficult to get doctors to agree to these permanent procedures for women
