As a woman I always genuinely offer to split but I will say it’s nice when they pay, like it leaves a better impression.

it depends on who asked who out. If you ask a person out, you should pay. Then it should alternate after that

whoever asked the other person out should pay. if it’s somewhere particularly fancy with a dress code, then i lean towards the man paying SOLELY BECAUSE it literally costs more for women to get ready for that kind of date

Whoever planned the date/asked for it is whos responsible for either paying or deciding to split. I always personally offer to split however my date wants to so they can pay if they want (and if they do Ill offer to pay the next time) or we can split it equally, by item, etc

If he asked her out, he should at least be willing to pay If she asks him out and he still doesnt pay idk why she would stick around with a guy that is going to make her carry the relationship emotionally and logistically/financially In any normal scenario, he should always pay
