Mega corporations getting handouts and lobbying their competition into obsolescence is NOT capitalism, true capitalism doesn’t let corporations have their greedy hands in the government in the first place that causes these issues. True capitalism allows for small business and competition and actually encourages it. Anything the government touches turns to shit, including the economy. The reason people fear capitalism is because they fear the US’s business model which is not actually capitalism.

It’s a mixed system, just like every other country, but it’s not even the most capitalist leaning country in the world, not even close. The most capitalist leaning country is said to be Singapore which is also said to be the happiest country in Asia. The second most capitalist country is Switzerland. I have never heard anybody say anything negative about those two countries and yet they are more capitalist than the US. The US is extremely corrupt, due to dirty politics, not capitalism.
