When most countries go to war, they do it for silly and selfish reasons. When America declare war, they do it to bring human rights and democracy.

It’s not all that black and white. Having separation of power mean that with any major decision there are many parties behind that action, and therefore many intentions

Unfortunately yes. We shouldn’t do that, we should do it for conquest and power instead. Rn, all of Europe should be under direct US control post WW2. Along with all the former French and British colonies, Japan, China, Iran, Iraq, and Syria too. This all should’ve been our land. But because of democracy, all those Americans who died in those wars, died for nothing. Their gains and sacrifices were surrendered in the name of “democracy”.

We (our country) do it for oil or foreign interests—at least in contemporary America, that is Sometimes there IS a silver lining, but not always

Our reasons are usually better than most other countries, but they aren’t perfect

i love the USA, but our government loves to meddle in other countries for enrichment & i would argue, it's often for unjust enrichment.

The US has not declared war since 1943. The only time the US has declared war for purely selfish gain was against Mexico in 1846. Every other time the enemy attacked us. Now, other uses of military force (Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq x2) could definitely be classified as “selfish”, but all but one official declaration of war was as self defense (1812, Spanish American, WWII vs. Japan) or defense of others (WWI & WWII vs. Europe)

The U.S. not doing that, for example when the U.S. occupied Afghanistan, women were able to go to school. Today in Afghanistan, women aren’t able to get an education

Yes that’s the point us attacking Iraq had nothing to do with human rights violations we are allied with others committing the same violations. Not saying US invasions aren’t justifiable but they’re certainly not to bring human rights and democracy
