Email now and say you have a stomach bug/food poisoning, waiting doesnt help anything, emailing (even if its to lie/make an excuse) right away makes it seem like you atleast were intending to show up

Talk to them before hand. Even if it’s 1 minute before the exam, it’s better than skipping and possibly taking the 0
