Nice! And interesting note about the being born in another country, everyone I’ve ever told’s been pretty surprised. I also didn’t expect the being an artist and liking anime to complement one another lol, though it makes sense in hindsight. My logic was that the types of people who are artists and the types of people who like frogs enough to have them as pets VERY often overlap, so I thought those would complement each other

Thinking about it more, maybe it’s so surprising to others that I wasn’t born here because I’m white, we moved here when I was less than a year old, and the parent I came here with (parents divorced before we left) was born and raised here, so I didn’t grow up a substantial enough amount around any other cultures for me to not just seem American
