It's crazy that the answer would've been Ireland (esp Belfast) only 20 years ago, and now it's one of the safest

My dad grew up there and murders at people's doorsteps, violence, etc were a daily part of their lives there in the 70s 80s 90s, but now it's basically a European-level standard of safety. Just smth I find fascinating, how quickly a place can change
