This is the kind of thing where I feel more context is needed: Were they buying anything themselves for the hangout or offering to pitch in, or did they just want you to get everything for them? Or something else?

After reading the comments I switch my vote. They def should’ve brought em. It’s not cheap to keep providing for them and they shouldn’t expect it everytime. That’s inconsiderate. Sorry that’s happening to ya

I’m always the person who gets us stuff because I’m the one who makes more. This time I asked them if they would be willing to pitch in because I have to save up for a new car and they basically said they couldn’t. They are still expecting me to provided substances even after I said I couldn’t

Then yeah, I'd say you're in the right here, just because you make more than your friends doesn't mean they get to mooch off of you for booze and beer every time you guys hang out
