Yk what that’s such a good freaking idea. I’m an interior design student and I wish I had thought of that for my capstone project

they should be mixed housing developments with a range of price points! those are the most effective at establishing safe, cohesive communities

It’s an interesting idea but it just doesn’t work like that

Absolutely, more affordable housing is really needed

Affordable housing is being forcibly wiped out, particularly in college towns with way too many complexes. The semi-affordable but still too expensive complexes are wiping out the old reliable apartments bc it’s not too crazy out of budget and the reliable ones get called ghetto for having to lower their rates to the point they can’t afford a fucking maintenance team. True story. We had to let go of two people yesterday out of a team of ELEVEN. That includes management, non man.+maintainence

I believe that happens occasionally with university dorms, but I’m not really sure how you would convert a mall even if you got zoning approval. sounds like it would be sketchy, expensive, and be inconvenient to live in

Ahhh so you are a privileged spoon boy or a religious zealot with no individuality. Perhaps both? Damn, I feel bad for your hypothetical children you will inevitably abuse

Affordable housing is just a place that turns into a hotspot for crime and drugs

I work in a town that is 8% section 8 housing. 80% of the houses are considered low income. It’s the 7th highest crime rate in my entire state and it’s only about 2 square miles in size.

Do you comprehend the system is broken? I encourage you to look outside your bubble and seek knowledge of the systematic problems within society

It doesn’t matter what idea your argument supports if it’s just blatantly wrong. The truth is always more important than blindly taking a sode
