If you’ve never had it and you like black coffee, I’d recommend trying it. They don’t taste similar, but they’re both bitter drinks with complex flavors so if you can appreciate black coffee, you can likely do the same with Guinness

Very true. I like coffee but wouldn’t have called myself a beer fan. I guarantee that if I wasn’t told what I should be looking for in its flavor profile before I tried it for the first time, I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much. Beer science is so cool.
