Agree or disagree: I think AI can be a useful tool but should never replace human intelligence or creativity. I don’t see a problem with using it very sparingly as a feature of the internet, but using it for the arts/flyers/deepfakes is disgusting. CC

When I say using it as a feature of the internet, I mean a way to find other resources you can use for a research project or something. But not copying what it says. Not letting it write for you. Not letting it do the thinking or creating FOR you, but rather being an aid in research or questions too specific to the internet.

It’s notoriously known for just making up sources, I think non-generative ai has its use for pattern recognition for things like, cancer screenings and stuff, but that kind of program is different from the LLMs that we’re thinking of as ai

This 100% non generative ai is helping with cancer cures I obviously have no problem with that but LLMs are being made and developed to eventually replace human labor when you dig into the root of them and I frankly dont think theres any ethical place for that in society as we currently stand
