One time I, for some reason, refused to pee for like 16 hours. I really had to. Fell victim to the toilet in my dream. I’m 19, and I hadn’t wet the bed since I was like 5 until that morning

Yup I have a spinal cord issue that makes me have general incontinence and I don’t feel when I need to pee so I don’t get woken up when my bladder is full. I’m getting surgery for it this month though

What caused you to stop? I was until I was 12, then when I moved to my grandpas he started waking me up in the middle of the night until I naturally got up when I needed to go

that’s a good question, I honestly don’t really know what it was. I started seeing a urologist when I was 13ish where they determined I had a small bladder and they tried a couple different medications and i eventually stopped those at 15ish and I just kind of grew out of it I guess?

Which was weird because you think I’d go back to bedwetting after stopping taking medication regularly but I never did. Might have had a few accidents during high school but it was nothing consistent. I was so scared i was going to start again when I began college and lived in the dorms but thank god I never did
