If you use TikTok and you’ve seen the “guess the number” or “crack the code” videos, is it actually staged/scripted? I see people commenting that on every video, and I’m trying to figure out the reasoning
It's engagement farming. I guess technically someone could stage it to try to get a viral clip but honestly the livestreams are sustainable without being staged

If yes, explain the reasoning please. Genuinely trying to understand why people would say yes.

It’s engagement farming by keeping you on the TikTok to “solve” the puzzle so you feel smarter and they get money. The more you engage the more money they make off of you

I guess i should’ve clarified the types of videos im taking about, that’s on me. I’m talking about the videos that couples or friends film with eachother, guessing the number or code that your friend or boyfriend/girlfiend/husband/wife chose.

In the videos I’m referring to, the number or code is already on the phone screen visible to the viewer, so there’s nothing for the viewer to guess or solve. It’s the two people filming the video that are guessing the number or code
