I’m a strong believer that if you don’t vote, you cannot have an opinion on anything whatsoever (unless not voting = can’t vote cuz ur not a us citizen)

I've only voted for Democratic candidates. I am more left leaning than the average Democratic candidate (my views are close to people like Mamdani, AOC, Sanders, for example), but I can't justify voting for any left leaning third party candidates when doing so could lead to a Republican. If it comes down to a moderate/centrist Democrat or Republican, I will always vote for the Democrat

I agree with this, it's really important to vote if you can because it's the best way to hold your representatives accountable and elect people who will enact policy. This isn't to say other forms of participating aren't important, but if you can only do one, voting's definitely the most important
