No one ever mentioning boston as if it wasnt one of the founding cities, has some of the richest preserved history (and in surrounding greater boston area), and still the hub of one of the highest ranked states for education and healthcare is so weird to me and Im not even from new england

World wide knowledge wise, DC without a doubt. know it’s not as big but it has similar tourist attraction for international and is more important to those outside the US.

this is the only one that makes sense because it hits all the regions in the U.S, all four are historically/culturally influential, and all four attract the most people job and leisure wise.
