I just don't understand why use an app that only allows 5 options to ask a question that would need at least 10 options to get even remotely insightful data

And even including an "other" option at that point is probably a bad idea bc most people aren't going to vote for it even if it applies to them. You might as well just say "pick your favorite of these options"
