Female pop singers have become too generic. For the most part, they use the same writers, the same formulas, the same lyrical topics. It’s gotten to the point that tik tok “stars” like Addison Rae can make “decent” pop music despite having no talent.

I don’t think it’s fair to only call out women for this. I think pop music in general has become this way. Also, a whole team of people work on an album

Well no. First of all pop music is inherently formulaic, that's literally what makes it pop. And Addison is a terrible example to choose because her sound is pretty far from generic radio pop. I hate this double standard that female pop stars have to reinvent the wheel everytime they make music, while male pop stars like Alex Warren and Ed Sheeran can drop the same generic slop and get away with it
