Personally, I don’t trust the government with that much power that the Sokovia Accords would give them. Look back to Avengers 1, they were ready to just nuke New York without a care. Millions of lives would’ve been gone if the heroes didn’t have the freedom to act for themselves. Cap is right for having concerns about these plans. I’m not for some super-powered police state kind of world where government higher-ups who do not care about the everyman wield even more power.

Bro that’s what I’m saying, imagine your best friend killing an innocent couple, and then you go on and beat up their orphaned son with heart problems💀

They weren’t actually fighting over Bucky though they were fighting over the Sokovia accords which? Cap wasn’t even necessarily opposed to he just said they needed time to actually look them over so they aren’t agreeing to a worldwide police state

And then the part where he was like, held prisoner and tortured for decades before being used as a weapon to kill the parents and it wasn’t like his own free choice?

That may be true, but I'm going to be on the side that isn’t for just openly embracing the police state without even questioning it for a second. Also, when it comes to the Bucky part, I’d say that I don’t really think it’s fair to punish someone for an action they had absolutely no control over. Tony has the right to be upset and be frustrated with the defense of Bucky, but at the end of the day, Bucky never had any choice in the actions he took and had nothing he could do to prevent

oh bucky is absolutely not guilty of anything. steve on the other hand knew about this for YEARS and still used tony’s money and resources for years living rent free without telling him this vital information. some type of friend
