Sometimes it starts off as beats I enjoy and then I really focus in on the lyrics

I just have a really hard time processing lyrics, like unless they’re absurdly blatant and surface-level, I’m not gonna get them the first few listens. And that’s even if my brain processed what was said at all, I often never know what all of the lyrics to a song are until I read them separately

it really depends, sometime i’ll even replay a song so i can focus once on the music and once on the vocals lol

I usually pay more attention to the lyrics unless the words are hard to understand or just nonsense
