Go for a more gentle warm LED. They are so much more energy efficient than Incandescent bulbs and give off way less heat

LEDs, preferably warm white, and/or a warmly colored light shade or something to filter the light warm. The LED bulb will save you money both because it will last longer, and it requires less electricity to power. And it’s better for the environment, and less of a fire hazard :)

When you say LEDs - are you still talking about traditional lighting or those LED strips?

Thanks everyone! I ask, because I’ve heard that the natural light from the incandescent are easier on the eyes, versus the LED bulb.

Poorly manufactured LEDs can really mess with rf signals (wifi & amateur radio)
