Normally, I think it’s fine, a military is important, but right now, given everything that’s happening with the country, joining it means you’re contributing to all that at least a little

I have friends who joined for financial reasons. It’s sad that they felt they didn’t have other choices, but I get it.

The US military has always committed mass murder and rape. From Mai Lai, to the Philippines, Jeju island in the Korean War, Iraq, Yemen, or even the massacres of the First Peoples in North America. The US military has always ruthlessly slaughtered civilian populations. western liberals only pretend to care now because Trump is president. When a demokkkrat is president, youll be apathetic again

I agree, my point is that it’s important to have a military in general (for several reasons) The military is one of many things that needs to be fixed in the country
