If you’re making me dress up for work, you’re paying me more idgaf.

Honestly if they expect you to dress formal, they will probably hold you to a higher standard, which deserves slightly higher pay imo

I used to have an airport customer service job that required this (minimum wage lmao) but it was a clip on tie in case it got caught on the bag belt

I could see the reason for more salary being that you have to spend money to buy more expensive clothing. If they don’t have it in their budget to pay for you to be able to afford looking more professional, then I’d go to the place that doesn’t enforce a dress code.

is it the same uniform minus the accessory, a different uniform, or no uniform for either except the accessory?

That’s not the question, it’s two different jobs but only one has a dress code

It’s professional corporate asking for more pay just bc of the dress code is your first offense

In reality both these jobs probably pay more than standard
