I don’t remember my diagnosis cuz I was young but I do know that the first medication they try for OCD is usually an SSRI. If you asked for a benzo first they could maybe think that but they aren’t gonna think/accuse you of being a drug addict for wanting help with OCD symptoms or for wanting an SSRI. Just tell them every obsession and compulsion you can remember having, write them down in notes so you don’t forget. It’s not like adhd where people constantly lie to get the drugs cause ocd meds aren’t usually stimulants like that, at least the first ones they’ll give you definitely aren’t
